If only Tome Robinson would have said no to helping Mayella Ewell then he wouldn't have been convicted of such a crime of passion. The hatred between the Ewell's family and African Americans is obviously noticeable so I don't understand why Tom Robinson would even bother to help Mayella. If Tom Would have just said no then maybe Jem wouldn't be going through all his little phases and he would be dead.
If only Atticus would have said that everything was going to be okay and that he was getting an appeal then Tom Robinson wouldn't have tried to escape prison and he would still be alive. Maybe if only the rest of the people in the town would have helped instead of letting Atticus do their dirty work as the would say in the story then maybe the verdict would have come out different and Tom wouldn't have even went to jail and have been killed.

Londyn this is an very interesting ending for the story. If only it really ended like that I wouldn't be bored reading the story

ReplyDeleteTHe way you ended this book would have been much more interesting. Instead of just killing him off they would be forced to go down the path of why the Ewells lied. Then maybe they wouldn't have gotten away with it and Jem woulod't have broken his arm.
