Courage and bravery to me is having enough will power to do something that you have never done before that you may or may not be scared to do.As I finish the book to kill a mockingbird I look back on the book to see who is the most ciurageous. I think that Jem is the most courageous person throughout the book. I think that he is the most courageous because he was brave throughout the story with going into the Radley's yard even though he was acared out of his mind. Helping his sister and trying to protect her when Bob Ewell came and tried to attack them. I also think that he has courage because when his father was defending Tom Robinson he was there throughout everything with his father even when he went to tell Miss Robinson that Tom had been killed.
In real life I think mr grandmother is the most courageous and brave person that I know. The reason I say this is because my grandmothers mother died and mygrandmother was left to take care of herself at a young age. She raised herself then shortly after she raised he kids basically by herself. She takes care of so many people weither its making sure their bills are paid to making sure they take their medicine on time. My grandmother is the one who holds our family togather if it wasnt for her I dont know where our family would be.

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children
Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children is a very good book but I dont think it would be the same without the pictures. The pictures help you to get a better understanding of what is going on throughtout the story, they also show you what the children and figures of what the chararacters have seen throught the story. This book is so interesting as soon as I picked it up I never wanted to put it down. It hold so much interest throughtout the story and so many mysteries that you want to finfish it all at once. This book also holds some disturbing facts and some of the pictures are disturbing but at the same time they are also fascinating. Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children is a good book and I tend to finish it.

Independent Reading
For our independent reading unit in class the book that I would really like to read is "Before I Die". I want to read this book because it seems that it will be a very interesting book for me. It has to do with death, love, passion, and struggle. As I start reading this novel I expect that it will be about a girl who tries to go out and do different thing before she dies but at the soon figures out that everything that she thinks she wants to do is going to turn out to be everything that she wishes she would have never done. I really would like to read "Before I Die" but if I dont get to read this novel my second choice would be "Miss Peregrines Home for Peculiar Children". This novel has kind of an edge to it and alot of mystery that makes you want to read it.

If Only, If Only
If only Tom Robinson wouldn't have been convicted, then maybe he would still be alive. He wouldn't have been shot in his back and killed. Maybe if the people would have been smart enough to realize that the Ewell's family was lying then Tom Robinson would still be alive and his family wouldn't be morning the loss if their once loved one. Maybe Atticus would be able to get an appeal if only Tom Robinson would have just waited and set it out.
If only Tome Robinson would have said no to helping Mayella Ewell then he wouldn't have been convicted of such a crime of passion. The hatred between the Ewell's family and African Americans is obviously noticeable so I don't understand why Tom Robinson would even bother to help Mayella. If Tom Would have just said no then maybe Jem wouldn't be going through all his little phases and he would be dead.
If only Atticus would have said that everything was going to be okay and that he was getting an appeal then Tom Robinson wouldn't have tried to escape prison and he would still be alive. Maybe if only the rest of the people in the town would have helped instead of letting Atticus do their dirty work as the would say in the story then maybe the verdict would have come out different and Tom wouldn't have even went to jail and have been killed.

My "American Dream"
My life has changed so much. I am now a successful OBGYN. I now live in Evansville Indiana. I live in a big beautiful home with a white picket fence and a dog. I have a loving family, a very successful husband who is a lawyer and two very well educated children. Everyday me and my husband get up and go to work to provide for our family. After work we all come in form a long day i fix the family a nice meal and most of the time have family night. Either having game night or movie night with one another. My mother and the rest of my immediate and extended family is also well taken care of they also live in very beautiful homes and live in nice neighboro hoods. My friends are also very successful at what they do and they also live in very nice homes with nice families. Achieving my dreams has made me very happy over these past years. I have a nice family, I am successful, I have hard working friends. But most importantly my family is taken care of.
"American Dream" 1
In article 1 the man is basically saying that the "American Dream" is something that is bought something that is earned. it expresses that it is something that you have to work for. Although the author also states that it is something like a burden to the Americans. He talks about paying taxes. He also says that it should be someone wealthy to represent the "American Dream". He doesn't say it in those exact words but something along those lines. In article 2 the author has many different views from the author in the first article. He thinks differently on life, liberty, and the pursitue of happiness. The first author states that the "American Dream" is the governments doings. I feel that the first authors article was the most trustworthy because really the "American Dream" is about money and who is the most powerful the most respected and the one who has earned the most out of their life. Really i don't agree with either of the authors. I fell that the "American Dream" is to being successful at what you do. Taking care of your family and loved ones. Making sure that your whole family has anything and everything they want and need and not just your immediate family but your extended one to.
